As we look at the types of housing that are compatible with Sherwood's Core Values, I thought it would be interesting to look at how respondents who see a need for affordable housing ranked by the types of new hosing they would like to see versus all respondents.
The chart below compares the cohort that believed more affordable/Low Income housing (36%) was needed versus all respondents.
There is a clear preference for Pocket Neighborhoods and courtyard style units.
There were many folks asking for more apartments in the comments "Other" section of the Poll.

As we look at the types of housing that are compatible with Sherwood's Core Values, I thought it would be interesting to look at how respondents who see a need for more diversity in housing ranked the types of new hosing they would like to see versus all respondents.
The chart below compares the cohort that believed more diversity (40%) was needed versus all respondents.
There is a clear preference for Pocket Neighborhoods and courtyard style units.
When taken with Anecdotal information from the "Other" option. Many people expressed a need for single level homes, that are affordable for retires.
